After visiting Chew Clan Jetty, we stumbled upon Han Chiang Ancestral Temple And Teochew Association on Lebuh Chulia. 

It was magnificently majestic! You could see the details and attention that went into refurbishing the place. The sun was setting and the sky a beautiful light bluish. It was the perfect backdrop against such a magnificent historical structure.

The structure had gone through restoration work for the past few years since George Town was rewarded with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. We loved the detailed refurbishment work that was put onto the objects, decorations and fixtures… It is a photographer’s wet dream.
