In support of our Malaysian Badminton Team. We went to a mini badminton viewing party at S’mores, Bangsar South. Main reason was, S’mores had a huge projector screen. The other reason was they had great beer deals. The great deal not to be missed is on weekend beer is priced at $10-13 ringgit beer deal. All day and all night long.
Another lovely point is, patrons have the option to join the match outside or cozy setting inside on big LCD screens. We choose to stay inside for the air con and the comfortable seating indoors. Which was also near to the beer tap. 😛
During the game we order the porky hawaiian pizza and porky carbonara. Both were very tasty. For cheese lovers the porky carbonara was flooded in generous amount of cheese. The pizza was tasty too with sweet pineapples and generous serving of porky bits.
Great thirst quencher… A satisfying drink… Fresh from the tabs!
Here’s some shot of the decor. It is a nice chill out place.
We were disappointed that the match ended with Japan gaining victory of the Thomas Cup. I was very impressed with Lee Chong Wei’s efforts this time. Tan Boon Heong-Hoon Thien How did well initially. But failed to win the 1st double match. Darren Liew aka Liew Darren put up a good fight. But loses may be due to heavy pressure or inexperiences.
Nevertheless, it was a good and engaging match with end result being Japan 3 ( Winning 2 doubles and 1 singles matches) and Malaysia 2 ( 1 double and 1 Singles win ). It was fun and patriotic to be screaming in support together with the other patrons of S’mores.
Bellow is a shot of a meal we had a few days ago at S’mores. We had ordered the Quarter Roast Chicken in Jamie Oliver’s style. It was well roasted yet very much still juicy.
